Discussion Future relations with the NPO

Following the repeal of the war and the proscriptions, I would like to know what the region wants our relationship to be. My personal opinion would be a forum-embassy for now. This thread can be used for discussion.

I would not be interested in an embassy or treaty of any sort (including a NAP considering many may have concerns on whether the NPO may truly honor a non-aggression pact). A forum embassy possibly, but I would not be interested in an ambassador exchange (posting updates on their forum). Realistically it would be very odd to rush into anything with the NPO this early on. Sure, we've had years of mutual disinterest and a lack of real conflict but I'd definitely be against jumping in head first, I'd be more interested in seeing them approach us with a NAP in the future.

Despite all of this my stance is whatever the majority of the citizenry decides.

I think this should be a situation of taking things as they come. Maybe give it a month or two before we jump into relations with the NPO.
